Gosford City Council, NSW is currently seeking tenders from suitably qualified contractors for the construction of two new reinforced concrete valve pits. One of the valve pits is located off Tramway Road at North Avoca and the other off Avoca Drive at Avoca Beach.

The scope of the works includes removing the existing valves and pipework and installing two of DN600 valves plus other associated pipeworks. And the  testing, restoration and commissioning of the works.

A mandatory pre-tender meeting will be held at the North Avoca Major Pump Station, end of Tramway Rd North Avoca, on Wednesday 23 April 2014 at 10am. Non-attendance at the mandatory site meeting will render tenders informal.

Submissions close Monday 5 May 2014.

For further information or application details see the tender webpage.
