Grampians Wimmera Mallee Water has issued a tender for the supply and installation of a total of 120 km of water transfer pipelines for the Five Towns Drinking Water Supply Project.
There are four pipeline routes:
- Rainbow to Jeparit – 31 km of 100 mm pipe
- Murtoa to Minyip – 22 km of 150 mm pipe
- Charlton to Wycheproof – 27 km of 150/200 mm pipe
- St Arnaud to Donald – 40 km of 150/200 mm pipe
Pipelines will generally be constructed through open farmland.
The contract will include supply and installation of all pipe, fittings and valves.
The tender closes on 24 September 2013.
