The Arrow Energy CSG-LNG project is inviting expressions of interest for the supply, delivery and unloading of water treatment chemicals which will support optimal operation of the company’s water treatment facilities.
Scope of the works:
Arrow Energy (“Arrow”) operates three reverse osmosis water treatment plants. Two of these water treatment facilities support Arrow’s southern operations located in the Surat Basin and other plant supports Arrow’s northern operations located in the Bowen Basin. These facilities are designed to treat the Coal Seam Gas (CSG) water generated through Arrow’s CSG operations. With regards to water throughput the southern plants currently treat approximately twenty-four mega litres per day and the northern plant treats two mega litres per day. Arrow is inviting expressions of interest for the supply, delivery and unloading of water treatment chemicals which will support optimal operation of the company’s water treatment facilities. As an additional and separable portion of work, Arrow is interested in understanding the extended service capabilities of the chemical supply market in delivering chemical monitoring and management services designed to optimise the efficiency of Arrow’s water treatment facilities, with the primary drivers for the company being to:
- Reduce the total cost of plant operation;
- Increase water throughput and plant operating uptime;
- Reduce onsite inventory; and
- Reduce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) risk through remote monitoring.
Offers close Thursday 7 November, 2013.
