Tender: water treatment plant clarifier construction

Southern Downs Regional Council (QLD) is seeking tenders to upgrade the Warwick Water Treatment Plant to meet ultimate capacity and provide a second (duplicate) process train for process redundancy and to address risks associated with security of supply.

A new clarifier is required to be constructed as a high priority due to the poor condition of the existing clarifier and the limited down time available for maintenance works.

The new clarifier will be designed to ‘take over’ the duty of the existing clarifier while it is taken off-line for maintenance works. Ultimately, the new clarifier will be switched over and used as part of the second process train in the future upgrade.

Submissions to tender close 28 March 2017.
