Unitywater and its construction partners are kicking goals for the construction of new wastewater network infrastructure in Waraba (West Caboolture).
To support the first new development area within Waraba, Unitywater and Killard Tallai Joint Venture will deliver the Waraba Wastewater Network project, which includes:
- A new Wastewater Pumping Station, located within the development area west of Crabapple Court
- Approximately 4.5km of new wastewater pipeline to connect the pumping station to the existing network
To date, almost 1km of pipeline has already been laid and the excavation depth of the pump station has been reached.
Construction of the new infrastructure is set to wrap up in late 2025, and once complete is expected to support approximately 70,000 people of the next 40 years.
