Queensland’s Urban Utilities has inked a new deal with the partner that will provide an Integrated Facilities Management Solution across their water network.

Programed has secured the contract, which includes planned and reactive facility services, management and support services.

Urban Utilities is one of Australia’s largest water distributor-retailers, providing water services to customers in several regions of Australia, including Brisbane, Ipswich, Lockyer Valley, Scenic Rim, and Somerset councils. Urban Utilities prides itself on being a ‘human’ business, focused on enriching the lives of people and Programmed shares this philosophy.

In this new partnership, Programmed has said that it looks forward to supporting these communities and working closely with Urban Utilities to ensure it provides the best service and continuous improvement.

Programmed CEO of Facility Management, Graeme Hurn, said that Programmed is thrilled to be partnering with Urban Utilities.

“We look forward to growing our experience in the water sector in this region to provide our expertise, having maintained water and wastewater assets across Australia with our customer base of Sydney Water, Greater Western Water, Melbourne Water, South East Water and now Urban Utilities,” Mr Hurn said.

Programmed will also drive its social and indigenous engagement plans by delivering even more training, apprenticeships, and employment opportunities through its Water Academy.
