Goulburn Valley Water (GVW) will replace 250m of water main along Bourchier Street and 298m along Halpin Crescent in Shepparton, Victoria, as part of its Water Main Replacement Program.
The aging mains have experienced numerous bursts over the past 12 months and replacing them will significantly reduce the number of bursts and improve the reliability of supply to customers.
The water mains will be replaced in early December 2017 by DKM Utilities Services on the corporation’s behalf.
The new mains will be located under nature strips in Bourchier Street and Halpin Cres on and are expected to be complete by the end of December 2017.
