Gippsland Water has launched a new quarterly e-newsletter called Upstream, to provide customers and the community with the latest news and information about its water and wastewater services.

Gippsland Water Manager Customer Service and Communications Paul Clark said that the free newsletter will feature a wrap-up of short articles and images and is a great source of information to ‘keep people in the loop’ about what is happening in and around Gippsland Water.

“We have a number of multi-million dollar investment projects underway throughout the Gippsland Water region, and distributing an e-newsletter is one way we can effectively communicate this important information to our customers and the community, and will also make for an interesting read,” Mr Clark said.

Mr Clark added that it is easy for people to register to receive the newsletter online.

“Signing up to Upstream can be done in just a few clicks via our website at gippswater.com.au. It will be distributed via email quarterly to anyone who submits their email address details and confirms their subscription securely online, with the first issue to be released in the coming weeks,” Mr Clark said.

“Those who are keen to use social media can also follow @gippswater on Twitter and view images of our environmental work on our new Flickr page at flickr.com/photos/gippslandwater,” Mr Clark continued.

Gippsland Water maintains a $1 billion infrastructure network, which includes more than 2,000 kilometres of water mains, 16 water treatment plants, over 1,500 kilometres of sewer mains and 14 wastewater treatment plants.

To sign up to Upstream, visit gippswater.com.au and follow the link on the home page.
