From 2-3 September 2015, over 1,400 attendees walked through the doors of the 78th Victorian Water Industry Operators Association’s (WIOA) conference in Bendigo.
Nearly thirty poster and platform presentations were delivered over the two days by engineers, water and wastewater treatment plant operators, scientists and staff from suppliers. Attendees discussed a wide range of issues to benefit personnel involved in the operation and maintenance of urban, rural and industrial water related infrastructure.
The event concluded with the official awards ceremony, which saw Steve Letcher – Central Highlands Water win the major award, the 2015 Wal Whiteside – Victorian Operator of the Year.
A comprehensive exhibition with 184 exhibition sites saw companies display the latest in equipment, services and process technologies available to the water, wastewater and liquid conveyancing industries.
